理化学研究表明,该病毒为rna病毒,对氯仿、乙醚敏感;胰酶试验中,经37 、 1小时处理的病毒,仍然能够在猫源细胞fcwf细胞上生长,并且毒力基本保持不变;耐酸性试验中,病毒分别在ph5 . 0和ph3 . 0经37作用2小时,毒力仅下降一个滴度;耐热性试验中,该病毒在恒定温度50 ,设定不同时间,从5分钟到150分钟,毒力均有不同程度下降,其中, 50作用30分钟,病毒平均滴度下降2个单位; 50 , 60分钟, cpe消失;恒定时间1小时,设定不同温度( 50 - 60 - 70 - 80 ) ,病毒在细胞上完全丧失增殖能力, cpe消失。生物学试验,利用实验室现有条件,选择不同的细胞系对该病毒进行培养,发现该病毒对猫源细胞fcwf最敏感; mdck细胞次之; f81细胞经多次传代,亦可出现cpe ;而vero细胞则不敏感。血凝试验表明,该病毒对猪、鸡、人及豚鼠的红细胞均无血凝性。
